Our Story
We started Coffer Studios because the design industry had stopped being interesting.
Everything was starting to look the same. The same rounded corners. The same muted palettes. The same safe forms that prioritised trend-following over genuine thinking. Studios were producing work that looked impressive in a portfolio and disappeared into the noise the moment it hit a shelf.
The other problem was deeper. Beautiful work was being built on a foundation of manufacturing ignorance, concepts that couldn't survive tooling, surfaces that looked extraordinary in KeyShot and failed at the factory gate. Clients were paying premium rates for work that required expensive re-engineering before a single unit could ship.
Coffer Studios was built as the answer to both. Work that has a genuine point of view. Work that survives contact with production. Work that your customer recognises as different the moment they see it, and doesn't disappoint them when they hold it.
Our Studio
A studio built to work with you from anywhere
Coffer Studios operates remotely from Australia, working with brands, founders and product teams across the globe. No office visits required, no time zone excuses, just clear communication and consistent progress from brief to production.
Every project runs through the same senior team, wherever you're based.
Our Team
Senior hands on every project. No exceptions.
The person who presents your concept is the same person who reviews your production samples; there's no handoff to a junior team once the brief is signed.
Our Beliefs
These aren't slogans on the wall. They're the practices that shape how we work, so what you see is what you actually get.
Distinction is not optional
"A product that blends in has already failed, regardless of how well it's made."
Aesthetics must survive production
"Design that can't be manufactured isn't design; it's illustration."
The brief is the foundation
"Rushed discovery produces expensive iteration."
Our job ends when yours begins
"A production package handed off and forgotten isn't a service; it's a liability transfer."
